Cosequin® ASU Plus - 1050 gm

Cosequin® ASU Plus contains the same ingredients (glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate, MSM, and ASU) as Cosequin® ASU with the addition of HA and green tea extract. HA is found naturally in the body and is the major component of synovial fluid, the substance that lubricates joints and keeps them moving fluidly. The combination of ASU/glucosamine/chondroitin sulfate with HA was shown to be more effective in reducing the expression of several factors involved in the breakdown of cartilage than ASU/glucosamine/chondroitin sulfate or HA alone. ASU with green tea extract was shown to be more effective than either ingredient alone in decreasing factor expression.
60 day supply on long term administration level of 1 scoop a day.

Directions for Use:
For horses under 600 lbs use 1 scoop daily for initial 2 - 4 weeks; long term administration use 1⁄2 scoop daily.
For horses 600 to 1200 lbs use 2 scoop daily for initial 2 - 4 weeks; long term administration use 1 scoop daily.

Used directions above for guidance. Initial administration period is 2-4 weeks at 1 to 2 scoops or easy packs per day depending on weight, or as recommended by your veterinarian. For horses over 1,200 lbs. administration may be increased. Once response is noted, the number of scoops or easy packs can gradually be reduced to a level that best maintains your horse. Prior to and during an event or strenuous exercise, administration may be increased back to the initial level for extra support.
